The other soloution is to Uninstall OneDrive from the computer. I still find excuses to go for a drive.The solution in such cases is prevent OneDrive from starting automatically on the computer, which practically disables OneDrive. My EV6 is the easiest, most relaxing, and fun car to drive that I've ever experienced. In an emergency stop the car starts slowing down the moment I take my foot off the accelerator and before I step on the brake pedal, reducing the time and distance for a rapid stop, One more thing I like about I-pedal is that I see it as a safety feature. And it is nice in stop-and-go traffic to have the vehicle remain stopped, but then a little push on the accelerator lets me creep along as traffic ahead moves forward, without having to go back and forth between brake pedal and accelerator. I have adapted easily to I-pedal driving such that I rarely have to touch the brake pedal to stop at a stop sign or traffic light. I find that ECO mode also makes for a smooth transition when coming off of smart cruise as I hit the exit ramp coming off a highway, then drop out of auto regen and re-enable I-pedal. I find eco mode combined with I-pedal gives me (and passengers) more sedate starts and stops. I've also used snow mode a few times - a very nice to have feature when you can use it.
Yes, there are occasions I use normal mode for power when I really need it (and on rare occasions sport mode). I find it simple and works well for me, mimicking to some degree the control I had with a manual transmission. I have settled on always driving in ECO mode using I-pedal in town, and auto regen with smart cruise on the highway.
In my EV6 I've tried various combinations of regen settings, driving mode, and paddle use as suggested by others on the forum. Having said all that I have come to enjoy my EV6 more than any other vehicle I have owned or driven (many - driving for over 40 years I have had opportunity to drive most everything, short of a semi tractor trailer rig). Although I enjoyed the MPV I preferred the control of the vehicle I had with the manual transmission. Before the Kia Soul I had a Mazda MPV minivan which had an automatic transmission. I transitioned from a 13 year old Kia Soul standard transmission to the EV6, which I've had for about a year now.
